In my entire healthcare career, I have never met a nurse who goes above and beyond for her colleagues and patients the way Greta does. She always takes initiative to address families' questions and concerns, and she approaches sensitive conversations with compassion and understanding. For example, when parents call our office with concerns following a child's surgery, Greta expertly responds to their concerns and reassures them that our team will do everything we can do ensure the best outcome possible. Not only does she help our families to feel heard and safe during their visits, but she also seeks to collaborate with the entire team and brainstorm better ways to manage our workload. Even when we have busy days in the office, Greta always makes sure to acknowledge her clinical colleagues and thank them for the work they do. She has a great working relationship with all of our providers, and she constantly strives to anticipate the needs of the office so that our providers can work efficiently and our patients can have a seamless visit. In an office that sometimes sees upwards of 80 patients a day, Greta is able to see the big picture of how the day will go and recognize which team members will need more support. When we encounter obstacles, Greta embraces the challenge with a positive attitude which radiates to the rest of the office. Her ability to encourage and motivate our team is nothing short of remarkable. Greta is truly a one-of-a-kind in the nursing profession, and she is a shining example of what it means to be a caring and supportive team member.
